Seaport-e

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville was awarded an IDIQ Prime Contract on Seaport-e for Zones 1-7.

SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. Simply stated, SeaPort-e provides an efficient and effective means of contracting for professional support services and enhancing small business participation.

Space Coast Intelligent SolutionsSpace Coast Intelligent Solutions, Inc. (SCIS) SDVOSB with a TS Facility Clearance. Trophy Management SolutionsTrophy Management Solutions, LLC (TMS), minority/ VOSB located in Alexandria VA. Founded in 2007, TMS provides management and analytical consulting support to both Government and industry partners. TMS employs a team of experienced consultants with expertise in strategic planning, analysis, engineering, organization, facilitation, and risk management. TMS provides a range of strategic, programmatic and financial planning support to Army organizations and companies working on ground force systems. TMS work has ranged from papers on public policy and strategic decision support, to financial and programmatic analysis to support the Army’s key modernization program.

Monitor Government Venture ServicesMonitor Government Venture Services, LLC (MGVS), a wholly owned-subsidiary of the Monitor Group Company, LP (Monitor), with approximately 1,200 employees in 26 offices. Monitor has broad experience helping governments and large organizations face tough choices, by integrating advisory capabilities that include strategy, innovation, financial analysis and organization expertise. Monitor specializes in providing strategy consultation services to the senior management of companies and governments. The Monitor National Security group specifically addresses strategic challenges facing public and private organizations in the aerospace, defense, intelligence and government sectors.

OceaneeringOceaneering Int. Inc. Marine Services Division (OII-MSD) is a full-service submarine and surface ship repair company located in Chesapeake, VA. OII-MSD is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company with unique capabilities of providing: Technical and administrative management coupled with services and equipment for the installation, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining of main and auxiliary, weapons, hull, mechanical and electrical (H, M & E) equipment on various submarines. OII-MSD also specializes in critical surface ship and craft system repairs, alterations and modernization, which includes weapons launching systems, hull and superstructures, steering systems, auxiliary systems (hydraulic, salt water, cooling systems, etc). OII-MSD is also the Dry Deck Shelter (DDS) Engineering Planning Yard (providing Design, Engineering, Field changes and ILS) and we accomplish Planned Maintenance (repairs and overhauls and Field changes) and emergent repairs on DDS’s in support of the Special Operating Forces (SOF) Community. OII-MSD has been NAVSEA’s contractor of choice for over 12 years concerning the DDS Program.

Interscope Technologies LLC Is a Small Business located in the Puget Sound area of Washington state and affiliated with Native Alaskan Manufacturing Company. Their main products are aluminum sheet metal and composite material fabrication and are capable of assembly for the aerospace and marine markets. Interscope specializes in strong light-weight structures with high environmental resistance. Additionally, Interscope provides design and engineering services, including engineering drawings, processes documentation and configuration/data management services to the manufacturing affiliate.

Functional Area Experience

The large proportion of education, training, and certifications acquired by key personnel reflects the depth of knowledge the NDBI-Team brings to Seaport-e.  Examples are the number of Senior Leadership staff with doctorate degrees (90%), Subject Matter Experts (SME) average over 31years experience in their field. Our superior breadth is exemplified in the diverse collection of people, disciplines, research centers, departments, subcontractors, and locations available to support the Seaport-e contract.

 

The NDBI-Team can provide OUTSTANDING support to Seaport-e customers by having relevant experience in all 22 functional areas.  Our Team has the significant depth and wide breadth of experience in multiple disciplines and functional areas to support any and all of the Navy’s unique mission requirements.

Quality Assurance (QA) Support

The Quality Assurance Plan for the NDBI/CEE combined two process overviews supporting a larger IDIQ contract into one quarterly contract review. This quarterly review or Periodic Progress Meetings (PPM) of contract performance allows for a forum between the contractor and government to take place in order to ensure that both parties are satisfied with the overall execution of the contract. NDBI presents information from a quarterly satisfaction survey (using a template) and addresses any concerns related to the performance thresholds as described in the Service Summary.
